Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham in Wolverhampton is seeking a Science Teacher to join its Science department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and contribute to student progress and attainment.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess progress, provide feedback, maintain high behaviour standards, and foster curiosity and scientific enquiry in GCSE preparation.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or be an ECT.

The Role

A secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its successful Science department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.

The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will encourage curiosity, scientific enquiry, and academic achievement while supporting students in developing the knowledge and practical skills required for success in their GCSE Science qualifications.

Working within a supportive department, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and attainment while helping students develop confidence and enthusiasm for Science.
