Science Teacher (Biology)

Start Date: September 2025

Location: East Riding Based Secondary Academy

Salary: £31,650 to £49,084

The Role

A secondary academy in the East Riding of Yorkshire seeks to appoint a Science Teacher from September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all Sciences to KS3 and GCSE. Applications from teachers of all Science specialisms are welcomed, with a particular interest in Biology teachers.

The School

An East Riding-based secondary academy located approximately six miles west of Hull. The academy is part of a large multi-academy trust that benefits from collaborative practice and leadership.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience in teaching Science to KS3 and GCSE
• Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons

This role may be offered on a 'temp to perm' basis, initially working on supply via Vision For Education for a term before transitioning to a contract with the academy.
