Job Title: Science Teacher

Position Details

Are you a passionate and qualified Science teacher looking for work in Swadlincote?

The position we are currently recruiting for is part-time, working on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. It starts on 28th April 2025 until summer, with potential for extension. We are seeking a Science teacher capable of teaching KS3 & KS4 levels and fostering an environment where students can thrive academically and personally. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons and motivate students.

Responsibilities
  1. Teach Science to KS3 & KS4 levels.
  2. Possess detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
  3. Maintain high standards of communication and teamwork.
  4. Assess, mark, and plan lessons.
  5. Assess student achievements.
  6. Provide progress reports and participate in parent evenings and department meetings.
Minimum Requirements
  1. UK QTS.
  2. Relevant teaching experience across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
  3. Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  4. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a part-time position until summer.
