Science Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a full-time Science teacher for a partnership school in Hull, starting ASAP until the end of the academic year. This temporary role covers a vacant position, with the possibility of becoming permanent if the candidate is suitable. Full planning and marking are expected, with payment scaled to the main teaching pay scale (M1 - M6). The daily supply rate ranges from £162.31 to £223.62. There is potential to reduce the role to four days per week if preferred.

The role involves teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. A large bank of resources will be available, minimizing planning requirements, though some adaptation of existing resources may be necessary.

The school is part of a large national academy trust that values its staff. It is located in Hull and is best accessed by car, with free onsite parking available. There are also numerous partnership schools nearby, offering further opportunities.

Tradewind will support your professional development through CPD via The National College. Taking this role may lead to other shifts and roles through Tradewind Recruitment.

To be successful, you should:

• Have UK school experience
• Have supported students in UK schools
• Have teaching experience in Science for Key Stage 3 and 4
