Job summary

Assignment Details

As a supply science teacher, you will be responsible for effectively delivering Science instruction to secondary school students across Key Stages 3-5. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, and employ a range of teaching methods to facilitate pupil learning. The successful applicant will have a strong background in science subjects, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to build positive rapport with Students

Person Specification

• must be 21 and over
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• PGCE in Science or related subject from a recognized provider
• You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Have experience teaching science in a UK secondary school setting.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Science lessons across ability ranges.
• Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
