Exciting Opportunity: Science Teacher at a Leading Therapeutic Education Service in Stoke-On-Trent

Location: Stoke-On-Trent

Salary: £27,456 - £43,014

Leader Group is proud to be partnering with a renowned Therapeutic Education Service provider to recruit passionate Teachers and Support Staff. We currently have an outstanding opportunity available for a qualified Science Teacher in Stoke-On-Trent.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
  • Delivering engaging Science lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Setting, marking, and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
  • Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.
Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with students with SEND.
  • Experienced - ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
  • Qualified - QTS/QTLS is essential.
  • Committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
