Salary: M Scale + SEN Allowance (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and resilient qualified Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEMH Behaviour School catering to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time position starting in September, ideal for a teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Use creative strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively.

  • Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment.

  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team, parents/carers, and external agencies.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant teaching experience.

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in alternative provision (desirable but not essential).

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
