About the Opportunity

Astro Education is looking for a qualified and experienced Science Teacher for a secondary school in South Staffordshire. The role involves teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4 the Science curriculum, including Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the academic year, focusing on raising student attainment and supporting them to reach their full potential. This role will be appointed on a permanent basis and all applicants who hold QTS, including ECTs, will be considered.

Required Experience:

• Experienced teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 Students (or similar environment).
• Hold QTS or equivalent.
• Be flexible, patient, and adaptable.
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team.
• Willing to take on full teaching responsibilities.
• Open to or have experience of working with a variety of SEN.
