Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a Science Teacher.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
• Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
• This position is open to specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A committed and passionate approach to working with students with SEND.
• At least two years’ experience working in a SEND environment or similar setting.
• QTS/QTLS is advantageous.

About Southpark Enterprise College

Southpark Enterprise College is an independent SEMH specialist school offering an alternative curriculum for young people with SEMH needs. Most students have an EHCP and may have ADHD or ASD diagnoses. We also support students at risk of exclusion from mainstream settings.

Students have diverse needs including communication and behavioural challenges. Our learning programmes are designed to support their aspirations, develop independence, and facilitate progress into employment.
