The Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join this exceptional team. In this role, you won't just be teaching from a textbook. You'll be designing and delivering captivating lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ideal candidate will have the ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting, inspiring students to ask questions, conduct experiments, and think critically. You will be a key contributor to the department's success, helping to build on its reputation for academic achievement and student engagement.

Your Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver stimulating and practical science lessons for a wide range of age groups and abilities.
  • Encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking through experiments and hands-on activities.
  • Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Contribute to the collaborative spirit of the science department by sharing best practices and resources.
  • Supervise and guide students in the safe use of laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Stay updated on the latest scientific advancements and incorporate them into your teaching.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary school level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
