Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Rotherham

Pay Rate: £155 - £220 per day

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join secondary schools in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator with a passion for scientific discovery, eager to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  2. Foster a love for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through interactive and practical learning experiences.
  3. Adapt teaching methods to support students of all abilities.
  4. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to maximize student success.

Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Science.
  2. Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  3. Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and exam preparation techniques.
  4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  5. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
