Science Teacher – KS3 & KS4

A forward-thinking secondary school in Redditch is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This long-term supply opportunity is perfect for a teacher with a passion for inspiring curiosity and scientific thinking in young learners.

Key Details
  • Position: QTS/ECT Science Teacher
  • Location: Redditch
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Contract: Long-term supply
  • Pay: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stages: KS3 and KS4

The Role
You will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting your teaching to suit a range of abilities and learning styles. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, you’ll play a key role in preparing students for their GCSEs while fostering a genuine love of Science.
You’ll work within a supportive and collaborative Science department with access to well-equipped labs, clear schemes of work, and strong SLT backing. There’s also the opportunity to support extracurricular clubs and enrichment activities.

The Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified Science Teacher (QTS required; ECTs welcomed) with solid classroom experience and a confident, adaptable teaching style. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach general Science up to GCSE level is essential.
You’ll be committed to high standards, able to build positive relationships with students, and keen to contribute to the wider school community.
