Larches High School is a Secondary Alternative Provision school providing full-time education for up to 125 pupils unable to access mainstream education. We promote an inclusive philosophy, ensuring all pupils are equipped with opportunities, skills, knowledge, and qualifications to reintegrate into mainstream education, specialist provision, further education, employment, or training.
We recognize our pupils as individuals, understanding that "one size does not fit all". Many have had negative educational experiences, and our role is to re-engage them with learning, improve relationships, and broaden their opportunities. We foster personal relationships to help each pupil achieve their potential academically and personally.
The Governors are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and dedicated individual to join us as a Teacher of Science. The successful candidate should be a consistently good or outstanding teacher with a proven record of raising attainment across all abilities.
