Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Pickering area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious department, delivering engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
Full-time Science Teacher
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential
Marking and assessment in line with the national curriculum
Participating in departmental and whole-school CPD
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Specialism in Science, with confidence teaching up to GCSE level
Strong classroom management skills and a positive attitude
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
An enthusiastic and engaging teaching style
