Job description

Start: June 2025

End: July 2025

Timetable: Full time (including form tutor responsibilities)

Rate of Pay: £160 - £250 per day (Dependent on experience)


We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Nottingham who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team after the half term break. This is a full-time and long-term job until the end of the academic year.To be successful for this job you will have experience of teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 in the last 2 years. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking will be required.
Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and 4
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
