Location: Maidstone
Salary: £120 – £250 per day
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Long-term, Full-time

GSL Education Kent are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join a respected secondary school in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher to inspire young minds and contribute to a dynamic Science department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Science Teacher, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of scientific principles.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative approaches to Science teaching.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment as a Science Teacher.

The Ideal Science Teacher Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS will not be considered.
  • Have the Right to Work in the UK – sponsorship is not available.
  • Be experienced in teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at secondary level.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a passion for Science education.
  • Be committed to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards as a Science Teacher.
