Job Opportunity: Science Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is collaborating with an excellent comprehensive school in the Maidstone area, seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The salary will be MPS/UPS, depending on experience.

The Role:

1. Plan and deliver creative lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
2. Regularly assess and support students to ensure they reach their full potential.
3. Encourage a positive learning environment to promote engagement and participation.
4. Attend meetings and participate in CPD to develop and share best practices within the Science Department and the wider school.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential; both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
2. Strong subject knowledge, passion for teaching Science, and proven experience in a secondary school setting.
3. Willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
4. CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible.
5. Legal right to work in the UK.
