Science Teacher

Location: Maidstone
Salary: £120 - £250 per day
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Long-term, Full-time

GSL Education Kent are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join a respected secondary school in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher to inspire young minds and contribute to a dynamic Science department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Science Teacher, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of scientific principles.
2. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
3. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative approaches to Science teaching.
5. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment as a Science Teacher.

The Ideal Science Teacher Will:

1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - applications without QTS will not be considered.
2. Have the Right to Work in the UK - sponsorship is not available.
3. Be experienced in teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at secondary level.
4. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a passion for Science education.
5. Be committed to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards as a Science Teacher.
