About the role


Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a dynamic and adaptable Supply Science Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools in Hull. You will deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering topics in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as needed. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, are confident in different classroom environments, and want to make a meaningful contribution to pupils' progress in Science.

    Requirements
    To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (applications from ECTs are welcomed)

  • Be confident managing classroom behaviour and adapting to new environments

  • Provide two references, including one from a recent teaching post

  • Be reliable, flexible, and ideally have access to your own transport to reach schools across Hull

  • Hold, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
