Job Opportunity: Science Teacher in Harrogate

Location: Harrogate

Salary: £190 per day

Job Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Start Date: 2nd September

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in Harrogate. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £190 and operates during term time only, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The successful candidate will start on the 2nd of September.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons to students of varying abilities.
  2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and overall student experience.
  5. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  6. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. A degree in science or a related field.
  3. Experience teaching science at the secondary level.
  4. Strong classroom management skills.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  6. A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
