Base pay range

Elevate Supply is seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher for schools in Bury! You will be responsible for delivering outstanding Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, sparking students' curiosity in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while helping them reach their full potential.

Position Overview

• Job Title: Science Teacher
• Location: Bury
• Day Rate: £150 - £200 per day dependant on experience
• Start Date: ASAP
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students
• Use innovative teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and a passion for Science
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Science curriculum and share best practices
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Science or a related subject
• Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
