SparkED Recruitment is delighted to partner with a good secondary school in High Wycombe to recruit a passionate and skilled Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-achieving school that prioritises academic excellence and the personal growth of its students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality and engaging Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
2. Inspire students to develop a love for science, helping them achieve fluency and confidence.
3. Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and well-structured lessons.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure continuous development.
5. Participate in the wider school community, contributing to extra-curricular activities and language-related events.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote the success of the Science department.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. A degree in Science, or a related subject.
3. Previous experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (A-Level experience is desirable but not essential).
4. Passion for Science, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
5. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
7. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and extracurricular involvement.
