Are you a passionate and resilient Science teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Science Teacher to join a supportive Alternative Provision setting in Darwen, working with secondary-aged students who require a more personalised and nurturing approach to education.
The Role:
Full-time teaching role delivering Science across KS3 and KS4
Working with students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and other barriers to learning
Creating engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
Building positive relationships and helping students re-engage with learning
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working in a mainstream or alternative provision setting
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
Passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
