Science Teacher – Dartford

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a modern secondary school to teach KS3 – KS5. Whether your expertise lies in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics this school is eager to welcome an educator who can spark curiosity and bring scientific concepts to life.

Contract: Full time, September start

Salary: £162 - £223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons that spark curiosity and excitement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel confident exploring new ideas.
• Support students in developing analytical thinking and scientific reasoning.
• Work closely with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and create exciting learning experiences.
• Encourage real-world applications of science, making lessons relevant and inspiring.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in your chosen science specialism.
• Experience teaching KS3-KS5 students.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in both theoretical and practical lessons.
• Enthusiasm for extracurricular science activities and school-wide events.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
