Job summary

Philosophy Education is seeking a Teacher of Science for a Lewisham secondary school from September 2026. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with responsibilities to inspire curiosity and deliver engaging science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Qualifications

  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science.

  • Support enrichment opportunities including STEM activities, Science clubs, competitions and educational visits.
