Science Teacher – Canterbury

Location: Canterbury | Start Date: January 2026 | Salary: £00 to £250.00 (In line with your current pay scale). PAYE, Pension, Free Parking

Academics are currently working with a school in Canterbury who are seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join their secondary school. The school aims to provide a supportive and engaging environment for their students, inspiring them to unlock their full potential and achieve academic excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons to students of all abilities
  • Plan and prepare lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support when needed
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the science curriculum and resources
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events as required
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the school
Qualifications
  • A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in science
  • A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The school would also consider part-time teachers too.
