The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and specialism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across a range of abilities.

• Assess and track student progress, providing clear feedback and intervention where necessary.
• Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and the school community.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, attendance, and academic effort.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in a Science-related discipline.
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level, including up to GCSE (A-level experience desirable but not essential).
• A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for science education.
