Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (plus potential STEM enhancement)

We are seeking a Science Teacher for a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school located in Brighton, renowned for its STEM excellence and outstanding pastoral care. This full-time permanent position is to start in September 2025, and is ideal for a teacher with a passion for investigative learning, academic stretch, and science enrichment.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality science teaching at KS3 and KS4, with A-Level teaching available for Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on specialism

  • Promote practical inquiry and real-life scientific application through lab-based experiments and fieldwork

  • Plan differentiated lessons that challenge and support all learners, including high attainers and those with SEND

  • Lead or support enrichment such as Science Club, field trips, CREST Awards, or science fairs

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in a science subject and QTS

  • Confident teaching across science disciplines at lower school, with specialism at GCSE or A-level

  • Passion for extra-curricular science and curriculum innovation

  • Team player with excellent communication and student rapport
