Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a knowledgeable Science teacher to join a large Catholic academy in Trafford from as soon as possible for the remainder of this academic year.

The Role

1. Position: Teacher of Science
2. Responsibilities: Delivery of biology, chemistry, and physics with a focus on innovative practical lessons
3. Skills: Positive, confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning
4. Adaptability: Able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students
5. Timetable: Mainly Key Stage 3, with opportunities to teach Year 10 and Year 11 sciences depending on the applicant's skills
6. Additional Opportunities: Teachers with A-level experience are welcome to contribute to the successful sixth form college

Requirements

1. Hold QTS, QTLS, or equivalent qualifications such as PGCE or Certificate of Education

4. Legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
