Science

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time teacher of junior and senior science at our modern well-resourced Timaru Campus.

At One School Global we teach NCEA, so previous experience with the NCEA curriculum is required. We currently have a preference for earth and space science teachers, but all other specialties will be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Expertise in teaching at the secondary NCEA Levels 1–3, with flexibility across at least one other subject
  • Strong commitment to student success and innovative teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with self-directed learning models and technology-driven learning
  • Strong digital skills with the ability to teach through multiple mediums
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field
