Science QTS Supply Teachers - Secondary Schools (Manchester)

Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester

Position Type: Daily, Short-Term & Long-Term Supply

Start Date: September 2025

Aspire People are seeking qualified and experienced Science Teachers to join our growing team to work across a variety of secondary schools throughout Manchester. We are recruiting for long-term, short-term and daily cover positions-with demand already increasing for September 2025 placements.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to build classroom experience, we'd love to hear from you!

The Role

You will be teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3 & KS4, delivering high-quality lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and supporting students' academic progress. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you'll be working in different schools or stepping into varied cover assignments.

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - ECTs are welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum across all three disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A DBS on the Update Service
• Ability to provide two years of recent references
• Willingness to travel to schools across Manchester
• Passionate about education with a flexible, can-do attitude
