Job summary

Whitgift School is seeking a Laboratory General Assistant to support the Science Technical Team in a busy school laboratory environment. You will help to keep laboratories tidy, well-stocked and ready for practical science lessons, assisting technicians and teaching staff as needed.

The post is permanent, full-time, term-time only with a pro rata salary reflecting term-time. Full training will be provided and you will work within a friendly, safety‑conscious team.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain and store laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and support waste disposal processes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation in science facilities.
