Job summary

St Bartholomew's School is seeking a permanent, part-time Lead Technician: Science to start December 2026. You will lead a team of Technicians and coordinate the use and development of practical resources to support the Science curriculum, ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Hours are 30–32.5 per week during term-time, with 5 training days pro rata. Salary ranges from £29,071 to £31,015 gross per year, pro rata for term-time. Closing date is 2 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of technicians in a school or laboratory setting.
• Ability to coordinate science practicals and maintain safety standards.
• Strong communication with staff, pupils and external partners.
