What We Are Looking For:
  • A genuine interest in science and a willingness to learn.
  • A practical, hands‑on approach with good attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • A reliable, positive and flexible attitude.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
What We Offer:
  • Full training and support, with no previous laboratory experience required.
  • Opportunities to develop the technical skills and knowledge required of a Science Technician.
  • Mentoring and guidance from experienced Science Technicians.
  • Term‑time working, ideal for work‑life balance.
  • A supportive and welcoming team environment.
  • Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Access to onsite sports facilities and gym.
  • Bishop Wordsworth’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
