Position:Science Instructor
Location: Hull
Salary: £130- £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dynamic Science Instructor to join a well-respected school in Hull. As part of a friendly and well-equipped department, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring science lessons, helping students discover the wonders of the subject. You will support learners by using practical experiments and clear explanations to enhance understanding.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school environment that values curiosity and achievement.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Delivering exciting and engaging science lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Inspiring students to develop a love for science through hands-on experiments and real-life examples.
  • Planning and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Supporting the development of the science department and contributing to a collaborative school environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Previous experience teaching Science in a classroom environment.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • A CV covering the last ten years (with no unexplained gaps).
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
