Science Teacher & Mathematics Teacher - 2 Positions Available
Location: Rye, East Sussex
Pay: £160 - £245 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 - 16:00
Contract Type: Long-Term (with the potential for a permanent position)

We are currently seeking two qualified teachers to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Rye, East Sussex. The school has two exciting long-term opportunities available for a Science Teacher and a Mathematics Teacher, starting in September 2025. For the right candidates, there is potential for these roles to become permanent.

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in your subject area (Science or Mathematics) across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support student progress through high-quality teaching and feedback
Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards across the department and school
Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Science or Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Be committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of learning
Be willing to apply for or already hold an enhanced DBS check
