Are you an undergraduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students in KS3 and KS4 science?

1. Position: Science Academic Coach Placement
2. Salary: £80 – 90 per day
3. Duration: September 2025 – July 2026
4. Location: ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School, Central Birmingham
5. Focus: Undergraduate placement for the academic year, supporting KS3 & KS4 science

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher or science professional to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting. As a Science Academic Coach, you will provide targeted support to students across KS3 and KS4, helping them strengthen their understanding of key scientific concepts. You will work with small groups, offer one-to-one support, and assist science teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

The school is seeking a motivated undergraduate with a strong background in science. You should be passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to simplify complex concepts will be essential in this role.
