Job summary

Norwich City Football Club Development is seeking a part-time Schools Football Coach to run after-school football sessions for primary pupils in Ely. You will deliver safe, engaging sessions, focus on skill development and teamwork, and adapt activities to different ages.

The role requires experience in football, school or childcare settings, a First Aid certificate, safeguarding training, and a coaching qualification, with a driving licence preferred. DBS checks desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential: First Aid qualification.
• Essential: Basic Safeguarding qualification.
• Essential: Relevant coaching qualification.
• Knowledge of how young people learn and develop.
• Understanding of the PE national curriculum and sports development.
• Experience working with young people in a sports environment.
• Ability to effectively and safely manage different groups.
• Preferred: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Minimum 1 year of sports coaching experience.

Monday - Thursday - opportunities for extra sessions may be available
Pay: £15 per hour
Location: School-based role in Ely
