Schools’ Liaison and Events Coordinator

Location: Rochdale Sixth Form College, College Road, Rochdale OL12 6HY

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Term Time Only plus 2 weeks

Salary: Sixth Form Colleges Support pay spine, Scale Points 13 to 17 (£29,273 - £32,936) and actual salary for TTO+2 will be £26,588 - £29,915.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Ofsted Outstanding college as a Schools’ Liaison and Events Coordinator. This role involves strengthening partnerships with local secondary schools and coordinating events for prospective students, parents, and stakeholders.

You will lead planning and delivery of transition activities and college events including taster days, masterclasses, open evenings, awards ceremonies, and more. Additionally, you will support marketing activities and social media presence to promote Rochdale Sixth Form College.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A proactive, enthusiastic, and passionate approach to improving opportunities for young people is essential.
