S2e is seeking an Asset Condition Surveyor to join our expanding team. The role offers flexible full- or part-time options with hybrid work, combining home-based work, school site visits, and occasional Leicester office meetings.

Candidates can be located along the Leicester to North London corridor. You will inspect school premises, compile asset condition reports, and support leaders in long-term capital investment decisions, collaborating with project managers and adhering to education sector

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Building Surveying or related discipline; membership bells are advantageous.
• Experience carrying out condition surveys in education sectors desirable.
• Ability to interpret survey data and produce concise technical reports for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Carry out asset condition surveys and lifecycle assessments across schools.
• Identify defects and maintenance needs, prioritising capital works.
• Produce technical reports, condition logs and asset schedules for leaders and governors.
• Collaborate with project managers to advise on estate planning and asset strategy.
• Stay updated on building regulations, health & safety, and energy efficiency in education.
