Job summary

Diocese of St Albans is seeking a Schools and Parishes Partnership Officer to join its Board of Education, supporting schools and parishes to strengthen worship, nurture young disciples, and develop pupil leaders of worship.

The role is based in St Albans with hybrid working arrangements and is a fixed-term, part-time post (0.8 FTE, 28 hours per week) for 3 years, offering a salary of £43,000–£46,000 per annum pro rata.

Job Description

The Diocese of St Albans is seeking a Schools and Parishes Partnership Officer to join its Board of Education, supporting schools and parishes to:

• Nurture young disciples
• Develop Pupil Leaders of Worship
• Build a network of volunteer chaplains across the Diocese

This role offers a competitive salary in the range of £43,000 - £46,000 per annum FTE (pro-rata for this 0.8 role). The position is based in St Albans with hybrid working arrangements.

The contract is fixed-term for 3 years. It is part-time (0.8 FTE), requiring 28 hours per week, primarily during term time with flexible working options.
