The UK Schools and Colleges Engagement team, within the corporate marketing directorate, is recruiting a Schools and Colleges Engagement Officer (Recruitment) to implement the Student Recruitment strategy across the East of England. The role involves working mainly with schools in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, requiring extensive travel within these areas. Candidates should reside in the target region and be comfortable working independently with a large portfolio of schools and colleges. A weekly office day at ARU Peterborough campus is expected.
Main responsibilities include delivering high-quality customer service to stakeholders and partners, and organizing student recruitment events such as taster days, workshops, talks, and presentations across campuses.
Applicants should have a degree or be part-qualified in a relevant field, or possess equivalent experience. The role requires developing and maintaining relationships with target schools and colleges, managing logistics for visits, utilizing data for impact assessment, tracking budgets, and building networks internally and externally. The candidate should be an innovative thinker with excellent communication skills, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build relationships with diverse groups is essential.
The position is based at home with weekly office days at ARU Peterborough, with extensive travel within the East of England and occasional work outside normal hours.
