A local educational institution is seeking an experienced Theatre Technician to manage technical equipment for major events and provide support to students and staff. The role offers over 50 hours of work initially, requiring expertise in equipment operation and maintenance. Ideal candidates will be organised and able to problem-solve effectively, contributing to a vibrant and supportive environment.
We are looking for an experienced or qualified Theatre Technician to order technical equipment, set up and strike equipment and operate equipment for major events and to be responsible for maintenance, care and storage of all technical equipment belonging to the school. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward the technical provision for the arts and to support students and staff. The post demands technical expertise and there may be more than 50 hours work available, especially at the outset of this new role.
