Job summary

Wednesfield Academy is seeking a Technology Technician to support the technology department and the experiences of its students. The core of the job is preparing tools, equipment and materials for lessons and working alongside teaching staff to develop the department's work.

This term-time post is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a start as soon as possible. Visa sponsorship is not available. Enhanced DBS clearance and Keeping Children Safe in Education checks apply.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and pre-employment checks under Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to the department.
• Prepare tools, equipment and materials for lessons.
• Work closely with teaching staff to support and develop the department's work.
• Support the experiences of students.
