Hours: Full Time – Term Time Only- Temp to Perm (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) / Bank options also available
Pay: £89 – £100 per day (Teaching Assistant Level 2 Salary)

GSL Education are working with SEN Specialist schools across Leicester, supporting pupils with special educational and behavioural needs. We're hiring SEN Teaching Assistants / Support Workers to help create a nurturing and empowering learning environment for children and young people.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting students aged 5–16 with additional needs

Providing tailored, 1:1 and group learning support

Assisting with personal care (where required)

Supporting the teacher with lesson delivery

Encouraging emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Promoting independence and social development

Working alongside educational psychologists, social workers, and CAMHS professionals

Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs (including personal/lived experience)

Knowledge of needs including: Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, Anxiety, Self-Harm, Learning Disabilities, Attachment Disorders, LAC

A calm, positive, and compassionate nature

Resilience and a strong commitment to safeguarding

An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
