Job summary

Perth & Kinross Council is hiring a School Support Worker at Longforgan Primary School to cover maternity leave. The role is fixed-term for up to 12 months, 28 hours per week, term-time only.

Duties span from supporting pupils and families to assisting the senior leadership with admin tasks to ensure a safe, efficient school day. Longforgan Primary School

Longforgan Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Support Worker to join our team to cover Maternity Leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

From working with children and young people, to supporting the senior leadership team with administrative duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the school, the remit of the role is diverse with no two days the same.

The job family role profiles are attached. The role may focus on some aspects more than others at different times of the year, but there would be an expectation of flexibility based on the needs of the school.

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post.

Skills & Experience Required

We are seeking a friendly, organised and highly motivated individual to join our school team as a Pupil Support and Administration Assistant.

This varied role combines school office administration duties with supporting the wellbeing and learning needs of children and young people.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many pupils, parents and visitors and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
