Job description

Due to growth in service, we are seeking an outstanding Student Support Worker with relevant qualifications (GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent) and experience working with students in a school environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties in line with the school’s ethos and the SEN Code of Practice.
2. Contributing to the safeguarding ethos by adhering to the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
3. Implementing structured learning activities and programmes, adapting them based on student responses, and providing feedback to teachers.
4. Supporting the use of ICT in learning activities and helping students develop their competence and independence in its use.
5. Assisting in lesson planning, resource management, and development of lesson plans.
