A leading school in Newport seeks a School Support Officer to provide business support in a nurturing environment. Salary: Grade 5 SCP 12 - 17, £27,711 - £30,060 (Pro rata)

The salary is pro rata based on 35 hrs per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time only, plus staff training days). Working hours are 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will work with the Senior School Support Officer to provide business support for the school. Experience with Microsoft Office, school-based systems (SIMS and Parent Pay), and an understanding of GDPR would be beneficial.
Under the guidance of senior staff, you will undertake administrative, financial, and organisational tasks within the school. You will be expected to maintain professionalism at all times while delivering excellent customer service to parents and outside agencies.
