School Support Officer - L3 - Llanmartin Primary School

Salary: Grade 5, SCP 12 - 17, £27,711 - £30,060 pro rata

Part Time, Monday and Tuesday, 15 hours weekly.

Starting Date: 1st September 2025

The pupils, staff, and Governors are seeking an enthusiastic and caring School Support Officer who is highly motivated and works with initiative to join our school team at the start of the Autumn Term, 1st September 2025.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, motivated, caring, and able to support and nurture pupils at Llanmartin Primary School
  • Can undertake administrative, financial, and organizational tasks within the school
  • Has good knowledge of IT packages including Word, Excel, and Google
  • Has experience with school-based electronic systems such as iTrent and SIMS (beneficial but not essential)
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines throughout the year
  • Can build respectful relationships with pupils, parents, staff, the Governing Body, and the wider community
  • Brings passion, energy, enthusiasm, and is driven to perform the role to the best of their ability

Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will include an interview with the school leadership team and Governors.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
