The Upward Bound Programs (UBP) School Success Coordinator (SSC) will support low-income, first-generation high school students in grades 9-12 at Mt Union High School. The SSC will work alongside the full-time Program Advisor to provide academic support and programming through graduation and post-secondary enrollment. Responsibilities include meeting with students, participating in programming throughout the academic year and possibly during summer sessions.
This is a part-time role, approximately eight hours per month, requiring maintenance of program documentation. The candidate must be a staff member within Altoona School District with a current K-12 teaching or guidance certification and all necessary clearances.
